# Data accuracy

> How to interpret StoreInspect estimates, public signals, and contact data.

StoreInspect builds Shopify store intelligence from public storefront signals, public web data, and contact data updates.

Treat the data as account qualification and research. Do not treat public estimates as private company numbers.

## What StoreInspect can show

Store records can include:

* Domain, store name, category, country, and public store metadata.
* Visible Shopify apps, pixels, themes, and customer-account signals.
* Shopify Plus indicators.
* Product counts and catalog signals.
* Estimated Monthly Traffic and Monthly Revenue tiers.
* Public social, advertising, and company signals where available.
* Contact previews and revealed contact channels.

## What StoreInspect cannot know from public data

StoreInspect does not access:

* Private Shopify admin data.
* Private analytics accounts.
* Customer order data.
* Exact profit, conversion rate, or ad spend.
* Password-protected pages or internal systems.

## How to interpret estimates

Revenue and traffic are directional tiers. They help prioritize accounts, but seasonality, campaigns, wholesale revenue, marketplace revenue, subscriptions, retail stores, and recent business changes can move the real numbers.

## How to interpret missing technology

Missing apps, pixels, or Shopify Plus signals are research clues, not absolute proof. Backend-only apps and private integrations may not expose storefront signals.

<Warning>
  Be explicit about uncertainty in outreach and reporting. StoreInspect works best as a qualification layer, not as a claim of exact company data.
