# Weekly new-leads email

> Get the new stores and contacts that match your saved searches by email every Monday. Paid plans only.

The weekly new-leads email tells you what is new in the searches you already built, so you can act on it without rerunning them. It is on by default for paid plans, and you can turn it off at any time.

## Who gets it

You get the email if you are on an active paid plan (Pro, Business, or Scale) or are a member of a workspace on one, and you have a search it can use.

You do not get it:

* On the Free plan.
* During a trial. It starts on the first Monday after your trial becomes a paid plan.
* If your plan is past due or canceled. A plan set to cancel at the end of its period keeps getting the email until access ends.
* If you turned it off, or your address is on our email suppression list.

## Which searches it uses

**1. Your saved views**

The email uses up to three stores saved views you made, most recently updated first. On a workspace plan, only views saved in that workspace count.

**2. Your last export**

If you have no saved view with filters, it uses the filters from your most recent export on the Stores page.

A search with no filters is skipped, and Contacts page views and exports are not used. With no usable search, you do not get the email.

To change what the email covers, edit or save a view on the Stores page.

## When it arrives

The email goes out on Mondays, shortly after 08:00 in your time zone. The dashboard saves your time zone from your browser. Until you have opened the dashboard, New York time is used.

It covers the 7 days before that Monday. If none of your searches have new leads that week, no email is sent.

## What counts as a new lead

A new lead is a store that matches your search and, during those 7 days, either:

| Reason in the email | What it means |
| - | - |
| New store | StoreInspect first found the store. |
| New contact | The store gained a contact you can see and export. |

A new contact only counts if all of these are true:

* They currently work at the store.
* They have an exportable email address that has not bounced.
* They look like a person: they have a title, a LinkedIn profile, a role, or an address that is not a shared inbox such as info@ or sales\@.
* They match your search's contact role filter, if it has one.

> [!WARNING]
>
> A new store is new to StoreInspect. It does not mean the business or storefront launched recently.

Each store counts as one lead, even with several new contacts. Stores where you already revealed a contact are left out, unless your search already filters on revealed contacts. Very broad searches show a lower limit such as 1,000+.

## What the email shows

The email shows up to six stores for one search, or up to three per search when there are several. Each row links to the store and shows why it is there.

The button opens the Stores page with your search's filters and the New Leads filter applied, so you see the stores the email counted. You can also pick New Leads yourself in the Stores page filters.

## Turn it off

You can turn the email off in either place:

* In **Settings > Notifications**, clear **Weekly new leads**. Turn it back on here at any time.
* In the footer of any new-leads email, select **Turn off this email**.

This turns off the whole email. You cannot turn off a single search or change how often it is sent. Sign-in codes, billing notices, and team invites are always sent.
