# Notion

> Send selected Shopify companies and decision-maker contacts from StoreInspect to dedicated Notion databases.

The Notion integration sends selected Shopify companies and revealed decision-maker contacts to two databases in your workspace. It is available on paid StoreInspect plans.

## Connect Notion

1. Open **Settings > Integrations > Notion** in StoreInspect.
2. Click **Connect workspace**.
3. Choose the Notion workspace and approve the requested content capabilities.
4. Return to StoreInspect and confirm that the workspace is connected.

You can connect more than one workspace and choose the destination when exporting.

## Databases created

StoreInspect creates two workspace-level databases:

* **StoreInspect Companies**
* **StoreInspect Contacts**

Notion places workspace-level databases created by an integration in the authorizing user's **Private** section. You can move or organize them in Notion after setup.

The Contacts database includes a relation to the Companies database. StoreInspect adds the typed properties it needs for matching and ecommerce intelligence. It does not modify unrelated pages or databases, and user-added properties in these databases remain unchanged.

## Send companies and contacts

1. Open **Stores** and select the Shopify companies you want to send.
2. Click **Export** and choose **Notion**.
3. Select the destination workspace if more than one is connected.
4. Choose whether to include already revealed contacts or reveal eligible contacts before sending.
5. Confirm the export.

The export runs in the background. Progress and completed syncs remain available under **Settings > Integrations > Notion**.

## Contact credits and history

* Newly revealing an exportable contact spends one StoreInspect contact credit.
* Contacts already revealed for your account do not spend another credit.
* Contacts without an available exportable email, or contacts beyond your remaining credit balance, are skipped.
* Notion sync history is retained in StoreInspect for 90 days.

## Matching and updates

StoreInspect first uses its durable page link and dedicated source ID to reuse pages created by an earlier sync.

* Companies are then matched by exact normalized domain.
* Contacts are then matched by exact normalized email address.
* Multiple matches fail safely instead of selecting an arbitrary page.

StoreInspect writes only to the properties it creates in the dedicated Companies and Contacts databases. Unrelated content and user-added properties are preserved.

## Data synced

Company pages can include:

* StoreInspect source ID and profile link
* Domain, category, and country
* Traffic and estimated revenue tiers
* Estimated monthly revenue and product count
* Lead fit score and Shopify Plus status
* Theme, detected apps, and pixels
* Last synced timestamp

Contact pages can include:

* StoreInspect source ID
* Name, title, role, and seniority
* Verified email, phone, and LinkedIn profile
* Company domain and relation
* Last synced timestamp

## Permissions

StoreInspect requests Notion's **read content**, **insert content**, and **update content** capabilities. These are used to:

* Identify and reconcile the two StoreInspect databases
* Search for existing pages before creating a new page
* Create company and contact pages for exports you start
* Update StoreInspect-owned properties on matched pages

StoreInspect does not send messages or modify unrelated workspace content.

## Disconnect

Open **Settings > Integrations > Notion** and click **Disconnect**. StoreInspect clears its locally stored OAuth credentials and revokes the Notion authorization.

Databases and pages already created in Notion remain unchanged.

## Troubleshooting

* **Reconnect required:** Reconnect the workspace if Notion revoked or expired the authorization.
* **Database not found:** Retry the sync. StoreInspect verifies its saved destination and provisions a replacement when the saved database was deleted.
* **Ambiguous match:** Remove duplicate StoreInspect IDs, domains, or email addresses in the StoreInspect databases, then retry the sync.
* **Property conflict:** Rename or remove an incompatible property using a StoreInspect property name, then retry.
