# Woodpecker integration

> Connect Woodpecker and import selected Shopify contacts and store details into your prospect database.

The Woodpecker integration imports selected contacts from StoreInspect into your Woodpecker prospect database. Connecting and importing require an active paid StoreInspect plan and a Woodpecker account with API access. Store-export allowances and contact-credit limits apply.

## Before you connect

Create a dedicated API key in Woodpecker under **Integrations > API Keys**. Woodpecker keys inherit the account user's API permissions; they are not restricted to prospect imports. StoreInspect uses the key only to verify the account, find existing prospects and import new prospects into the global database.

StoreInspect does not enroll prospects in campaigns, change suppression statuses or send emails. Check any separate automation you already run in Woodpecker before importing prospects.

Workspace owners and admins manage connections. Each Woodpecker account can be connected to one StoreInspect account or workspace at a time.

## Connect Woodpecker

1. Open **Settings > Integrations > Woodpecker** in StoreInspect.
2. Select **Connect account** and enter the dedicated Woodpecker API key.
3. Review the snippet mapping below and confirm that it suits your campaign templates.
4. Select **Connect account**. StoreInspect verifies the key and displays the connected account name.

The key is encrypted on StoreInspect's server. It is not returned to the browser after saving.

## Import contacts

1. Select stores or contacts and open **Export**.
2. Choose **Woodpecker** and the destination account if more than one is connected.
3. Choose the contact roles and number of contacts per store. Review **Snippet mapping**.
4. Select **Send to Woodpecker** to import contacts already revealed to you, or **Reveal & send to Woodpecker** to approve new reveals using contact credits.

A send supports up to 200 contacts from 100 stores. Woodpecker imports contacts only; company-only sends are unavailable. Review imported prospects in Woodpecker before adding them to campaigns yourself.

Only one StoreInspect import runs per Woodpecker account at a time. Other applications using that account share Woodpecker's API capacity. If Woodpecker is busy, StoreInspect retries a rejected request within a bounded window; it does not blindly repeat an uncertain create.

## Matching and duplicates

StoreInspect matches prospects by exact email. Existing prospects are skipped, including blacklisted, bounced, invalid and replied prospects. Their fields, snippets, suppression status and campaign membership remain unchanged.

If a create response is lost, StoreInspect keeps a durable pending record and checks the exact email before retrying. If the outcome cannot be confirmed, the contact is reported as failed for review. It is not created again automatically.

Contacts without an eligible revealed email are skipped. The activity view distinguishes imported, skipped and failed counts. Existing matches are included in the skipped count.

## Prospect fields and snippets

New prospects include available first name, last name, email, phone, LinkedIn URL, job title, company name, website, category and location. Missing optional values are omitted.

The connection requires confirmation of this fixed mapping for new prospects:

| Woodpecker field | StoreInspect value |
| - | - |
| snippet1 | Detected apps |
| snippet2 | Detected pixels |
| snippet3 | Theme |
| snippet4 | Shopify Plus |
| snippet5 | Estimated traffic tier |
| snippet6 | Estimated monthly revenue range |
| snippet7 | StoreInspect store URL |

Snippet text is HTML escaped. Data comes from StoreInspect's index; detections and estimates may be incomplete or outdated. Existing prospects are never updated to apply this mapping.

## Contact privacy and credits

StoreInspect never sends masked contact details. **Send to Woodpecker** uses only contact details already revealed to you. **Reveal & send to Woodpecker** uses contact credits for the selected contacts; contacts beyond the available balance are skipped.

The full store selection is reserved before delivery or new reveals. Successfully imported contacts and exact existing matches count toward the shared unique-store export allowance: matching also sends the revealed email to Woodpecker. Each store counts once per allowance period across export destinations. Contact credits are separate.

Sync activity is retained for 90 days. Saved error messages exclude API keys and raw contact details. See the [privacy policy](https://storeinspect.com/privacy) or contact [support@storeinspect.com](mailto:support@storeinspect.com).

## Disconnect or reconnect

Open **Settings > Integrations > Woodpecker** to check, reconnect or disconnect an account. Disconnecting stops active imports and removes the saved key from StoreInspect. Existing prospects remain unchanged.

To revoke the key itself, delete it under **Integrations > API Keys** in Woodpecker. Disconnecting StoreInspect does not revoke a key that may also be used elsewhere.
