# Zapier integration

> Use StoreInspect actions in Zapier to find Shopify stores and reveal decision-maker contacts.

The StoreInspect integration for Zapier lets you find qualified Shopify stores, search masked decision-maker contacts, and reveal selected contact details inside a Zap. It requires a paid StoreInspect plan with API access.

## Install StoreInspect

Use the StoreInspect invitation link to add the integration to your Zapier account.

1. Open the [StoreInspect Zapier invitation](https://zapier.com/developer/public-invite/244131/7fea19ae57cd99f8f456d8c394a1a85c/).
2. Accept the invitation in your Zapier account.
3. Create a Zap or open an existing one.
4. Add **StoreInspect** as an action step.

StoreInspect provides search and reveal actions. Choose another app or Zapier event as the trigger for your Zap.

## Connect your account

1. In StoreInspect, open **Settings > API**.
2. Create a dedicated API key named `Zapier`.
3. In the StoreInspect step in Zapier, choose **Connect a new account**.
4. Paste the API key and confirm the connection.

Zapier stores the key as a password field and sends it to StoreInspect as a bearer token. Revoke the key in StoreInspect at any time to stop future requests.

## Available actions

* **Find Shopify Store** finds one known Shopify store by domain or URL.
* **Find Shopify Stores** searches stores by category, country, traffic, estimated revenue, Shopify Plus status, technologies, and contact availability.
* **Find Contacts** searches masked contact previews by role, seniority, available contact channels, and store criteria.
* **Reveal Contact** reveals one selected contact's verified details using StoreInspect contact credits.

StoreInspect currently provides Zapier actions, not triggers.

## Find Shopify stores

1. Add a StoreInspect action to your Zap.
2. Choose **Find Shopify Store** for one known domain or **Find Shopify Stores** for filtered discovery.
3. For filtered discovery, select at least one positive filter.
4. Test the step and map the returned store fields into later Zap steps.

Filtered searches return up to 100 stores. Zapier normally uses the first search result; enable Zapier's multiple-results option when the rest of your Zap is designed to process every returned store.

## Search and reveal contacts

**Find Contacts** returns masked previews and StoreInspect contact IDs. It does not expose email addresses or phone numbers.

To reveal a contact:

1. Add **Reveal Contact** after a StoreInspect contact search.
2. Map the store domain from the earlier step or enter it directly.
3. Select a contact from the dynamic list, or map the Contact ID returned by **Find Contacts**.
4. Test the step and map the revealed email, phone, title, LinkedIn URL, or store fields into later actions.

Each newly revealed contact uses one StoreInspect contact credit. The integration sends a stable idempotency key so an automatic retry of the same contact does not spend another credit.

## Errors

* **Invalid or revoked API key:** Create or rotate a key under **Settings > API**, then reconnect the StoreInspect account in Zapier.
* **API access unavailable:** Confirm that the StoreInspect account has an active plan with API access.
* **No positive filter:** Add a country, category, role, technology, traffic tier, revenue tier, or another narrowing filter.
* **Rate limit reached:** Zapier will retry after the StoreInspect rate-limit window resets.
* **Insufficient contact credits:** Add credits or change your StoreInspect plan before revealing another new contact.

StoreInspect errors include a request ID when available. Include it when contacting support about a failed Zap step.

## Disconnect or rotate a key

1. Remove the StoreInspect account connection in Zapier.
2. Revoke the corresponding API key under **Settings > API** in StoreInspect.

Removing only the Zapier connection deletes the saved key from Zapier. Revoking the key in StoreInspect prevents any retained copy from being used again.
