# Zoho CRM

> Send selected Shopify companies and decision-maker contacts from StoreInspect to Zoho CRM.

The Zoho CRM integration sends selected Shopify companies to the **Accounts** module and revealed decision-maker contacts to the **Contacts** module. It is available on paid StoreInspect plans.

## Connect Zoho CRM

1. Open **Settings > Integrations > Zoho CRM** in StoreInspect.
2. Click **Connect account**.
3. Choose your Zoho account and approve the requested CRM permissions.
4. Return to StoreInspect and confirm that the Zoho organization is connected.

Use a Zoho CRM user who can create and update Accounts, Contacts, and custom fields. You can connect more than one Zoho organization and choose the destination when exporting.

## Send companies and contacts

1. Open **Stores** and select the Shopify companies you want to send.
2. Click **Export** and choose **Zoho CRM**.
3. Select the destination organization if more than one is connected.
4. Choose whether to include already revealed contacts or reveal eligible contacts before sending.
5. Confirm the export.

The export runs in the background. Progress and completed syncs remain available under **Settings > Integrations > Zoho CRM**.

## Contact credits and history

* Newly revealing an exportable contact spends one StoreInspect contact credit.
* Contacts already revealed for your account do not spend another credit.
* Contacts without an available exportable email, or contacts beyond your remaining credit balance, are skipped.
* Zoho sync history is retained in StoreInspect for 90 days.

## Matching and updates

StoreInspect first uses its dedicated source ID fields to reuse records created by an earlier sync.

* Accounts are then matched by exact website domain.
* Contacts are then matched by exact email address.
* Multiple matches fail safely instead of selecting an arbitrary record.

Existing Accounts and Contacts receive only StoreInspect-owned custom-field updates. StoreInspect does not overwrite CRM-managed names, owners, statuses, contact details, or existing Account associations.

New Accounts include their name and website. New Contacts include available name, email, phone, and Account association data.

## Custom fields

StoreInspect creates dedicated fields for ecommerce intelligence, including:

* StoreInspect source ID and profile link
* Category and country
* Traffic and estimated revenue tiers
* Lead fit score and Shopify Plus status
* Detected technologies
* Contact title and LinkedIn profile
* Last synced timestamp

The integration does not create Deals, Tasks, Activities, campaigns, emails, calls, or SMS messages.

## Permissions

StoreInspect requests access to:

* Read organization and current-user details
* Search Accounts and Contacts for exact record reconciliation
* Read, create, and update Accounts
* Read, create, and update Contacts
* Read and create Account and Contact custom fields

These permissions are used only to connect the selected organization and perform exports you explicitly start.

## Disconnect

Open **Settings > Integrations > Zoho CRM** and click **Disconnect**. StoreInspect clears the locally stored OAuth credentials and attempts to revoke the Zoho authorization.

Accounts, Contacts, and custom fields already created in Zoho CRM remain unchanged.

## Troubleshooting

* **Reconnect required:** Disconnect and connect the organization again if Zoho revoked or expired the authorization.
* **Missing permissions:** Reconnect using a Zoho CRM user who can manage Accounts, Contacts, and custom fields.
* **Ambiguous match:** Remove duplicate StoreInspect IDs, domains, or email addresses in Zoho CRM, then retry the sync.
* **Field limit reached:** Remove unused custom fields or upgrade the Zoho CRM edition before retrying.
