The Close integration sends selected Shopify companies to Close as Leads and revealed decision-makers as Contacts on those Leads. Connecting and sending records require an active paid StoreInspect plan.

Before you connect

StoreInspect requests full API access so it can match and create Leads and Contacts and maintain StoreInspect-owned custom fields. It also requests offline access so background sends can continue after you leave StoreInspect. Connect a Close user with permission to manage customizations. StoreInspect verifies this permission before saving the connection. StoreInspect does not create Opportunities, Tasks, Activities, Sequences, emails, calls, or SMS messages.

Connect Close

  1. Open Settings > Integrations > Close in StoreInspect.
  2. Select Connect account.
  3. Choose a Close organization and approve the requested access.
  4. Return to StoreInspect and confirm that the organization shows Connected.
You can connect more than one organization. Choose the destination organization in the export dialog when multiple organizations are connected.

Send records

  1. Select stores in the Stores table and open Export.
  2. Choose Close as the destination.
  3. Choose the contact roles and maximum contacts per store.
  4. Select Send revealed or Reveal & send.
Each send supports up to 100 companies and 200 contacts. StoreInspect processes records in small background chunks. Progress and recent sends remain available under Settings > Integrations > Close > Sync activity. Only one send can run per Close organization at a time.

Matching and duplicates

StoreInspect matches Leads by StoreInspect store ID and website domain. Contacts are matched by StoreInspect contact ID and email address. If multiple Close records match, StoreInspect reports the record as failed instead of guessing. Repeat sends reuse the matched records. Existing Close-managed names, contact details, assignments, statuses, and other CRM fields are preserved; repeat sends update only StoreInspect-owned custom fields.

Lead custom fields

StoreInspect creates and maintains these fields on Close Leads:
  • StoreInspect store ID
  • StoreInspect domain
  • StoreInspect URL
  • StoreInspect category
  • StoreInspect country
  • StoreInspect headquarters
  • StoreInspect product count
  • StoreInspect estimated monthly revenue (USD)
  • StoreInspect revenue tier
  • StoreInspect traffic tier
  • StoreInspect lead fit score
  • StoreInspect Shopify Plus
  • StoreInspect theme
  • StoreInspect apps
  • StoreInspect pixels
  • StoreInspect last synced

Contact custom fields

StoreInspect creates and maintains these fields on Close Contacts:
  • StoreInspect contact ID
  • StoreInspect title
  • StoreInspect LinkedIn
  • StoreInspect last synced
Names, Lead associations, email addresses, phone numbers, titles, and LinkedIn URLs are populated when StoreInspect creates a Contact. Repeat sends preserve Close-managed values and update only the StoreInspect custom fields.

Contact privacy and credits

StoreInspect never sends masked contact details. Send revealed includes only contacts already revealed in StoreInspect. Reveal & send deduplicates contacts by email and spends credits only for contacts that currently have an exportable email address. Contacts without a usable email or beyond the available credit balance are recorded as skipped. Sync activity is retained for 90 days. Stored errors exclude raw Close response bodies, access tokens, email addresses, and phone numbers.

Disconnect or reconnect

Open Settings > Integrations > Close to check, reconnect, or disconnect an organization. Disconnecting immediately stops active sends and removes the saved credentials locally, then asks Close to revoke the refresh token. Existing Close records remain unchanged.
