Refund Policy
Last updated: May 31, 2026
Overview
StoreInspect is a subscription product for Shopify store research and lead generation. We want billing to be clear and low-friction, especially for customers who cancel soon after an unused renewal.
Trials
If your account is eligible for a free trial, you can cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged. If the trial converts to a paid subscription, the first paid charge is handled under the rules below.
Unused Renewal Refunds
Monthly or annual renewal charges are eligible for refund review when all of the following are true:
- You request the refund within 7 days of the renewal charge.
- The billing period has not had material product usage, such as contact reveals, CSV exports, bulk exports, or high-volume database access.
- The subscription is canceled or scheduled to cancel before the next renewal.
First Paid Charges
First paid charges are generally final once the account has used paid features. If you paid and quickly realized StoreInspect is not a fit, contact us within 7 days. We review low-usage or no-usage first-charge refunds case by case.
Non-Refundable Usage
We generally do not refund billing periods where the account has materially used the product. Material usage includes contact reveals, CSV exports, bulk exports, saved lead-list workflows, or unusually high-volume database access during the paid period.
Cancellation
You can cancel anytime from billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless a refund is confirmed, you keep access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.
How to Request a Refund
Email support@storeinspect.com from your account email with the invoice number and a short note about the issue. We may review account usage for the billing period before approving a refund.
Processing Time
Approved refunds are sent back to the original payment method through Stripe. Most refunds appear on the card within 5-10 business days, depending on the bank or card issuer.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a dispute. We can usually resolve unused renewal issues faster through a direct refund than through the card network dispute process.
